LITTER “Z”

RIVA & MARLOW puppies are born on 17.12.2023;

we have 10 puppies - 4 males (3 blond, 1 black&tan) and 6 females (4 black and 2 black&tan).

Today's ultrasound examinaton confirmed our assumptions. After a long search for a suitable stud male all over Europe, we decided to file a request for a male who passed the ZTP in late spring 2023 and was placed as V2/18 RZV Club Show ’23  – so a new hidden gem on the RZV stud male list – Marlow von Acro-Bado. Marlow’s pedigree consists of dogs from well-known German kennels and will contribute to Slovenian Hovawart population as totally new bloodline. He is sired by Amato vom Winterberg (sire of RZV Club Show ’19 BOB winner) and HZD Champion Yona vom Helmefeld.

Once again we are dedicating the spotlight to the male, because this will be Marlow’s first litter. Marlow lives in Germany, a bit north from Frankfurt, as a family dog whose daily job is guarding the family’s farm. He is one of the most friendly hovawarts I have ever met, he loved our cuddles and was happy to give us some kisses. Marlow’s family has 2 small children, and he loves spending time with them as well.

Marlow was shown 3 times all together, all three times graded with excellent, the highlight of his show career is surely V2/18 RZV Club Show ’23. He is HD A, DM N/N, locus E/e, eyes free, thyroid normal, full dentition, ZTP. According to his ZTP report he is a very strong type, WH 70 cm, with very strong and in every aspect correct head (I can’t tell how much I love his head and expression), correct front/chest/backline/croup, parallel front and back movement, tail of correct length. His ZTP was judged by mrs S.D. Entenmann who specifically complimented his perfect front in movement, a rare thing to see nowadays.

We believe Marlow’s and Riva’s features complement each other very well and the same goes for their temperaments. Riva’s puppies live all over the world, their temperaments are wonderful, some live with special needs kids and they are doing amazing. We expect puppies of stable temperaments nd if we are very lucky, puppies of all 3 colors. All puppies will be DM N/N by parentage.

The results of their dates should join us on December 17, 2023.
